Structural Strip Flooring
Structural strip flooring refers to a traditional method of installing timber flooring where solid timber boards are fixed directly to the floor joists or bearers. This type of flooring is generally thicker, with boards typically measuring between 19mm to 22mm in thickness. Structural strip flooring is considered to be a more durable and long-lasting flooring option as it can withstand heavy foot traffic and can be sanded and refinished multiple times throughout its lifespan.
