A combination of features refers to flaws that the lumber possesses. These features can include any natural defects such as knots or cracks.

For example, a piece of timber may have a combination of features such as a straight grain pattern, a light color, and minimal knots. Alternatively, another piece of lumber may have a combination of features such as a wavy grain pattern, a dark color, and several knots.

The combination of features in lumber can affect the strength, durability, and appearance of the final product.
